Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, Good Camera For Advanced User
Posted in Latest News on 06/15/2011 03:08 pm by wpadminI needed a little practice to receive used with all setting but after a while of adjustment I find the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 good for every day use in many conditions. Only negative surprise was the figures on a camera which is compare to LX2 that was my previous camera quite remarkable large. After a while when I determined all beauties this size issue has not been important anymore.
The most amazing thing is the speed where LX5 can be great and it gives you real DSLR feeling although it is not.
I also like option to benefit from automatic ISO setting with max. ISO. This means you just tell up to which ISO might automatic setting go.
All other things are as expected and when you are used to LX product line you’ll find no disappointments.
After it’s second vacation (it’s there now) to Canon meant for repair (their first repair caused a second), I started to look around at something akin to the Powershot S90′s capabilities. Not wanting to wait around for Canon to return the S90 (what makes me think in the home . any better this time? ) I started searching for cameras in this class. Many in the reviews mentioned that the LX5 was just as good, if not better, than Canon’s systems. As a die-hard fan of as much as possible Canon (7D, 60D, S90, and a lot of great lenses), it was a tough choice to go with the Panasonic LX5.
Well, I decided to take the plunge, and man am I glad I did so. What an absolutely fantastic camera. You can operate, with intuitive operational and management layouts – open the box, bill the battery, and start taking fantastic pictures (no manual needed). The IQ may be to die for. For what it might be, this camera is without peer.
Image a photographer for 30+ years and possess shot with countless cameras of any stripe. Panasonic got it right in the DMC-LX5 (the on/off switch in actually on the proper location, and it’s a slider, not just a momentary contact push button – Distressing, S90). If you take bad photo’s in such a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, its you, not the camera. Highly recommended. By the way, The amazon website. com is also peerless.
