Kim is one step closer to planning her wedding, but it didn’t come easy.  On this week’s “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding” episode tempers explode, food is tasted, Brielle is growing up and chaos ensues regarding tattoos and hair.

Brielle is attending her first homecoming dance and she is going full out Kim style.  Her dress is decked out with feathers it is all topped off with her mother’s bling.  But that is not to say that Brielle’s parents were fully supportive.  While Kroy was being the sweet stepdad that he is Kim was grilling Brielle’s poor little date and threatening him if he tried anything.

Brielle admits that the two have only been going out for two months and they haven’t even made out yet, they have only had a peck on the cheek.

The house is a little hectic for homecoming with all of Kim and Kroy’s friends and family around but it all works out in the end.

Kim takes some time to talk to her new little baby boy, KJ and I have to admit that it is kind of adorable the way that they bond.

Kim admits that her Mother’s Colin Cowie obsession is freaking her out a bit and she wants her Mother to calm down and stop acting like a maniac.  Kroy agrees that it is a little bit over-the-top.  When Kim finds out that Colin is back in town she does not want her Mother to know because she is scared that her Mother will act like a crazy super fan.

Instead she and Kroy decide to separate Kim’s Mother from the wedding plans for a little while.
The two go to a food tasting with Colin, minus Mama Kim, and taste all of the extravagant foods that he has to offer.  The foods look delicious but it is obvious that Kim and Kroy are a little bit overwhelmed.

Kim tries to take over the menu by herself and Kroy admits to not liking hush puppies or fioe gras…they are one in the same.  Both don’t know what in the world they are doing but it’s entertaining to watch them try.

After the food tasting is over Kim is disgusted to find out that Kroy found a hair in one of his food samplings and didn’t say anything about it.

Back at home Kim calls in Derek to give his expert advice on her wedding wig.  He tells her that it needs to be trimmed and Kim is not having it.  The two get into a little tizzy over whether or not to cut it down to size.

Kim also consults Jen about getting a shoulder tat but Jen thinks an under the boob tat would be much more classy.

Meanwhile Kim’s Mom finds out about the Colin food tasting via twitter and is so angry she was left out that she threatens to boycott the wedding.  Kim and Kroy don’t appreciate her passive aggressiveness and Kim curses her out on the telephone.  All is fair in love and war.
