With five women left from the Tikiano tribe in the game of “Survivor,” the team of an all female tribe returns to camp. The women are proud of their accomplishment to oust all the men from the game. The time has come that alliances much be broken.
It’s day 37 as Kim picks up the tree mail. Sabina makes no bones about it, she wants to get rid of Alicia, but Kim leans more towards Chelsea. It’s time for the immunity challenge.
The five finalists gather as host, Jeff Probst, explains the rules. The contestants will race across a balance beam maze. Anyone that falls off, must start over. Once over the balance beam, they will collect 5 bags of puzzles to solve. There will be three numbers to line up on three rotating pieces. Once the numbers are lined up to reveal the combo to the lock, that person wins immunity and the fourth spot for the finals. Losers will go to tribal council and may be in danger of going home. Kim is the first to solve her puzzle as she wins immunity for the third time in a row.
Kim now faces the dilemma of who to vote out as she now must vote out one of her alliance. Chelsea and Kim walk to discuss the matter. Chelsea wants to vote out Alicia. Chelsea wants Kim to give her the idol. Kim is torn about who to take out and does not want to make a big show at this point. Kim tells Alicia to get rid of Chelsea.
At tribal council, Alicia admits she is nervous about the vote. Kim says it was a tough evening for her as well and that she needs to play with her head, but her heart is getting in the way as her decision will impact the rest of the game. Christina shares that she trusts Kim and Alicia and Sabrina feel so secure they don’t even want to comment. As Jeff reveals the votes, there are two for Chelsea and three for Alicia. WOW! Alicia is the 14th person voted out and the eighth member of the jury.
Kim apologizes to Christina for lying to her, but Christina now knows Kim has been fooling her all along that she would be in the final three. Christina is not giving up. Kim and Chelsea are afraid that Christina might win immunity at the next challenge. Kim and Chelsea know they have to decide between Sabrina and Christine to join them in the final three. Chelsea reveals she thinks it would be easier to take Christina.
Christina knows she must win immunity, but Kim vows not to make her feel like she has to win. As the final four enter the challenge arena, Jeff explains the rules. They will be stacking bowls on a spring loaded rod. First one to stack 10 bowls wins final immunity and the chance to plead their case at the final Tribal Council. Kim is the first to get her bowl through the channel with Christina right behind her. Chelsea and Sabrina are lagging behind. As they load their third bowl, Christina and Kim are tied. They are dead even at their eighth bowl. Kim cries as she pulls out her 4th win and is guaranteed a spot in the finals. The girls all congratulate her.
Back at camp, Christina asks Kim if she is next to go, Kim tells her she is. Christina knows they have their minds made up and chooses not to create any chaos between them. She is happy to have made it this far. Kim second guesses herself as she knows it would be better to have Christina at the end, no matter who she has an alliance with.
At final Tribal Council, Jeff is surprised to hear that it was a calm day. Sabrina said that everyone knew the cards were already on the table. Kim chimes in to say that she knew she was leaving tonight since the other three have had an alliance since the beginning although she does reveal that she feels like she is more deserving than Sabrina. Kim says that Christina should have made a stronger pitch to stay in the game as things are not always as they seem. The votes are counted and Christina is out, becoming the ninth and final person on the jury.
The three finalists discuss their accomplishments over a full breakfast of fruit, bread, eggs, and other food. Kim boasts that’s she is happy to take home the title. At the final Tribal Council the three give their opening statements. Chelsea reveals that she played the game good, but did not make emotional ties to the jury members like Kim. Kim says she loves the game and played it hard from the beginning as she apologizes for hurting people as she voted them out. Sabrina says she sought to keep balance in the game. She also chose not to help decide who to vote out.
The jury members drill the final three, making them squirm as they have to offer their answers to convince the jury to vote for them. The votes are read live from New York as seven out of nine members vote for the winner of Sole Survivor and the million dollar prize – Kim.
