With Tea showing up to help with Starr’s defense, she hopes to shift the blame to Johnny, against Starr’s will. Starr takes up for Johnny as he has been good to her since her arrival in Port Charles. In the meantime, Johnny tries to blackmail Delores to tamper with evidence for Starr.

Carly is surprised when she is faced with an old acquaintance as a visitor at the Metrocourt.  Todd Manning has returned to Port Charles because his daughter Starr needs him.  Carly questions Todd about his murder case and he shows her the newspaper headlines where he was cleared of the charges.

Meanwhile, although Sonny claims that he doesn’t care about Kate any more and despite his denial of forgiveness for her after catching her in bed with Johnny, he hires Alexis to help with her defense. Kate offers a confession to Alexis, telling her that she is afraid that Connie may be responsible for shooting out Anthony’s tires and killing Starr’s little girl and boyfriend. With five women left from the Tikiano tribe in the game of “Survivor,” the team of an all female tribe returns to camp. The women are proud of their accomplishment to oust all the men from the game. The time has come that alliances much be broken.

It’s day 37 as Kim picks up the tree mail. Sabina makes no bones about it, she wants to get rid of Alicia, but Kim leans more towards Chelsea. It’s time for the immunity challenge.

The five finalists gather as host, Jeff Probst, explains the rules.  The contestants will race across a balance beam maze.  Anyone that falls off, must start over.  Once over the balance beam, they will collect 5 bags of puzzles to solve. There will be three numbers to line up on three rotating pieces. Once the numbers are lined up to reveal the combo to the lock, that person wins immunity and the fourth spot for the finals. Losers will go to tribal council and may be in danger of going home. Kim is the first to solve her puzzle as she wins immunity for the third time in a row. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s been crazy around the breakfast table as Tessa deals with Eden continuously invading her space. George is at a loss and is not able to offer his daughter a reasonable time when their new roommate will be getting a place of her own or if she will ever be moving out. Tessa is also upset about the healthy meals that are forever being served at home now.  She thinks the wheat meatloaf is enough to make you throw up.

Lisa is gearing up to attend macramé camp and Malik thinks he wants to go to a sports camp this summer. Since the two of them made a pack that they would spend the summer together, this may become a problem. When it comes to Tessa, she has her mind made up to do an internship are the Village Voice. She was extremely surprised when she found out that Eden was in favor of her desire to spend the summer in Manhattan. She encourages her to hand carry her resume and drop it off in person to increase her chances of getting the gig. Kim is one step closer to planning her wedding, but it didn’t come easy.  On this week’s “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding” episode tempers explode, food is tasted, Brielle is growing up and chaos ensues regarding tattoos and hair.

Brielle is attending her first homecoming dance and she is going full out Kim style.  Her dress is decked out with feathers it is all topped off with her mother’s bling.  But that is not to say that Brielle’s parents were fully supportive.  While Kroy was being the sweet stepdad that he is Kim was grilling Brielle’s poor little date and threatening him if he tried anything.

Coming this fall, “Nashville” is notably another soap opera type series with Nashville music being the backdrop scene that revolves around one star at her peak in the industry with another on the rise to challenge her. Series programming keep the viewers coming back week after week.  As the season shows are coming to an end and with the cancellations of so many shows last week, “Nashville” may be just the thing to keep ABC ratings up to par.

The new fall show features a top of the charts country legend, Rayna James (Connie Britton) who has had a career that any singer would die for over the last few years. She built an empire through her music. However, her popularity is starting to subside as fans are still lining up to obtain her autographs, but her ticket sales are down and the arenas are not packed like they used to be for the country star.

Rayna’s recording label company thinks she needs an opener in Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), a sexy young and upcoming future country star, on her concert tour to help her get her sales up.  However, backstabbing and schemer Juliette can’t wait to steal Rayna’s spotlight from her. Having to share the stage with a disrespectful untalented witch like Juliette is the last thing Rayna wants to have. This only sets up her power struggle for popularity. An undiscovered songwriter with a lot of talent named Scarlett O’Connor (Clara Bowen) may be the key to helping Rayna revive her career. Read the rest of this entry »

On this episode of “The Young and the Restless” everyone was mourning the death of Cassie.

Victor met with Nikki at Cassie’s gravesite where Nikki was placing flowers down in remembrance of her Granddaughter.  Victor held her hand and the two reminisced for a little while before Victor left her alone to bond in peace.

Nick walked to the gravesite and said that he missed Cassie, and Sharon, who walked in right after him, said that she heard him because she was there too.  The two remember good times that they had with Cassie and they realize that if she were still alive she would be out of college and a grown woman.

Sharon remembers how well Nick and Cassie got along with one another and how different things would be if Cassie had not died seven years ago. Read the rest of this entry »

A recent blog post this week reports that Mark Cuban has revealed that he bought just under five million in Facebook stock. He must have been one of the investors that did not get the message that Facebook’s business was declining or he simply has money to burn.

The Dallas Mavericks owner admittedly purchased three blocks of 50,000 shares at $33, $31.97, and $32.50.  Cuban tells that it’s a trade, not an investment.  He likens it to buying a Mickey Mantle, a Hank Aaron, and a Barry Bonds rookie card, knowing there is a card show in town next week.

Cuban’s reason for the trade was interesting, especially since he never has had anything good to say about Facebook. He was recently quoted as saying that the disastrous IPO will be noted as just another good reason for the retail investor to stop playing the stock market. He goes on to reveal that in his opinion, any positive impression investors had of the IPO market and the stock market in general was just thrown out the window. Read the rest of this entry »

People wonder if the pop star, J-Lo is using her rumored doubt to return to the number one singing contest as a negotiating tactic or if she is really considering a no show on the next season of “American Idol.” On Tuesday, Lopez sputtered a hint that she might not come back for a third season, leaving fans wondering what was going on.

When J-Lo appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show with Cameron Diaz to promote her latest movie, What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” the “Idol” beauty stated that her time on the popular show has been wonderful, but it may be the time for her to do something different.

Telling the host, Ellen, that she really does enjoy the “Idol” contest, although she was not sure what her future is on the show after a second season, not knowing if she can make it a third. Lopez said she misses doing a lot of other things as the show keeps her pinned down, which used to be nice as her twins were smaller, but they are now getting ready to go to school and she can be more mobile. Really?  Are you kidding me? Two weeks ago the Kardashian family all try to thwart off rumors of a Kardashian/West romance and now it is rumored that Kim is banning all women from going backstage with Kayne West during his summer tour with Jay-Z. Come on, really?

This is how it seems to be going down. It looks like Kayne has a load of girls that he is friends with.  No doubt, he is a touring rap superstar.  Why wouldn’t he have that following? Seems new love Kim Kardashian is not happy about all the females in Kayne’s life being alone with him backstage. She sees how he is taken with girls because of his sensitive nature and has decided to cut down her chances of infidelity and take up the slack in his reigns just a bit. She is putting a stop to the situation as she doesn’t want to look or feel awkward.  Yeah right!

While most of these “girls” are stylists from the fashion set, Kim is just not thrilled with them being backstage with her new man Kayne. Sources reveal that Kayne is willing to let his newfound Kardashian beauty make that stance as he will comply because he does not want to lose her.  He has been hitting on her for over eight years now and is not about to turn her loose at this point. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Reunion Part One was a jumbled mess of women screaming and attacking each other spiced with a few low blows and finished off with much anticipated cattiness.
Andy begins the show and the women do not wait to get into it.  The topic of the night is finance and no one is getting out of this storm unscathed, except for Kandi who really is a “rich bitch” as Kim calls her.

Questions are asked like, is it actually possible for an ex-stripper, Nene, to be offended by the presence of sex toys and sex language.  While the answer is apparently yes Kandi is not happy and she and Nene get into it over Nene’s rude behavior at Kandi’s opening party.

Then the conversation goes right back to finances, Kim’s in particular.  They remark on how Kim is broke and is quickly spending all of Kroy’s money as well.  Then the conversation turns to how she was digging in the dirt for used designer goods while dating Big Papa.  Kim is immediately offended by the blast from the past when she is now well on her way to creating a new life with Kroy, her husband.  She goes further to mention how she earns all that she has herself, but the audience and rest of the cast are doubtful that she earns enough money on her nursing salary.

Happier thoughts lead to Kandi who has found new lover and is excited, more on that should be shown next season. Read the rest of this entry »
