And yet, there are still too few teachers of ukulele. This gives you an edge over other music teachers who preferred to teach piano, guitar or other common musical instruments.

Moreover, you either learn how to play guitar by knowing how to strum ukulele, or learn ukulele fast by knowing the techniques of guitar. This skill will give you an advantage of learning similar stringed-instruments like the banjo or mandolin, which you can teach in the future. This proves how playing and teaching the ukulele can make you a flexible musician and teacher.

Apart from this, the ukulele carriers a lot of good qualities which serve as good investment for any budding teacher in the world music-teaching. Ukulele is inexpensive. So you can buy some extra instruments to be used in your classes. In case, one breaks down, you can always have some spare instruments around.

Furthermore, this instrument is very portable.  You can carry it with you anywhere you go and still have the energy to teach a very impressive lesson to your students.
